The Brown Bag Buddies (BBB) is a privately funded assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day.

All About Healthy Eating

Poor nutrition can lead to malnutrition, being over weight, and obesity. Our goal at Brown Bag Buddies is to provide a healthy balanced meal as well as nutritional education.

Food for Thought

Often low income neighborhoods can often be located in food deserts. Brown Bag Buddies will be a resource for receiving a healthy balanced meal during school breaks. No child should have to go to bed hungry.
